The Quiz GB chatroom quiz takes place every Thursday night between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm (London time).
The quiz consists of someone "reading" questions by posting them a few words a time, usually breaking them into chucks of significant facts. At any time, a player may interrupt the question to answer. Have "/me buzz", already typed in, then press return or enter when you think you know. Wait for the reader to say who was first before you answer. If the first person to buzz is wrong, the next person who buzzed is called upon and so forth. You can only buzz once during each question.
The questions we use are taken from academic buzzer quizzing, but they also contain a fair proportion of popular culture, so there's something for everyone.
